Connect · Tradovate

Your Tradovate accounts, live, without installing anything.

You authorize TradeAquila on Tradovate’s own page. From then on every account under your Tradovate login — evaluations on the sim environment, funded accounts on live — streams into one dashboard, with your firm’s own risk settings turned into progress bars. Every trade the account ever made comes along: the full history is backfilled on the first connection.

How Tradovate connects

  1. 1In the monitor, open Add an account → Tradovate / NinjaTrader and click Connect with Tradovate.
  2. 2Log in on trader.tradovate.com and approve. The permissions are read-only — accounts, positions, orders and fills, cash balance, risk settings. Nothing that trades.
  3. 3Tick the accounts to monitor. They appear within about thirty seconds — every trade since each account opened already in History — and keep streaming with your platform closed and your computer off.

What TradeAquila reads

  • Cash, net liquidation and open PnL, every ten seconds
  • Open positions with entry, working stop and target from your bracket orders
  • Every fill as it happens, with commissions, paired into round trips
  • Your firm’s auto-liquidation settings — daily loss, trailing drawdown — as live headroom
  • Every fill and fee since the account opened, backfilled on the first connection through Tradovate’s own reports — plus your deposits and withdrawals, so Total PnL is the real all-time figure

What it never does

  • Place, modify or cancel an order — the authorization cannot
  • See or store your Tradovate password
  • Subscribe to market data on your behalf

Accounts you trade inside NinjaTrader on Tradovate technology are Tradovate accounts: they connect this way too, with nothing to install.

You can revoke the authorization in Tradovate at any time; the link dies the same second.
