Rithmic is the plumbing behind many futures prop firms. TradeAquila keeps a read-only R | Protocol session to your Rithmic system on its servers, so your accounts stream around the clock — no terminal open, no VPS.
How Rithmic connects
- 1In the monitor, open Add an account → Rithmic, pick your Rithmic system (Rithmic 01, Apex, Rithmic Test…) and enter your Rithmic user id and password. The password is stored encrypted and used for nothing but reading.
- 2The worker connects within about thirty seconds and lists the accounts it found. Tick the ones to monitor.
- 3Each selected account gets its own dashboard, goals and journal, with every trade since the account opened backfilled once — Rithmic’s fill history, read in 30-day windows back to the account’s creation date.
What TradeAquila reads
- Account PnL and positions from a live subscription — one snapshot at login, then updates only
- Every fill with its commission, per lot, paired FIFO into round trips
- Working orders, for stops and targets on the open rows
- Every fill since the account opened, through Show Fill History, once, at the first connection — so Total PnL is the real all-time figure
What it never does
- Place, modify or cancel an order
- Poll Rithmic for PnL — the link follows Rithmic’s conformance rules to the letter
- Share your login with anyone: one Rithmic login belongs to one TradeAquila user
Rithmic allows one session per login on each plant. If a platform opened elsewhere takes the session, the link pauses and resumes by itself.
