TradeAquila

Connect · MT4

MetaTrader 4, still the workhorse — monitored like everything else.

The same Expert Advisor as MT5, compiled for MT4. It pushes your account about once a second, outbound-only, and reads the terminal’s history for the backfill — with one MT4 quirk handled for you.

How MT4 connects

  1. 1Run TradeAquila-Monitor-Setup.exe from Add an account — it installs into every MetaTrader 4 and 5 on the PC and registers your key.
  2. 2In MT4: Tools → Options → Expert Advisors, allow automated trading and add https://tradeaquila.com to the WebRequest list.
  3. 3In the Account History tab, right-click → All History, so the EA can read past trades — MT4 only exposes what that tab shows. Then drag TradeAquilaMonitor onto a chart.

What TradeAquila reads

  • Balance, equity, margin and free margin
  • Open orders with SL, TP, floating profit and swap
  • Closed orders from the history tab, deduped by ticket
  • Up to 90 days of history, backfilled on the first push

What it never does

  • Open a trade — there is no entry logic in the EA
  • Ask for your investor password
  • Touch any chart but its own

MT4 runs 32-bit and older brokers still ship it; the EA is built against the build most firms deploy. If yours rejects it, tell us the build number.
