How Bybit connects

  1. 1In Bybit, open Profile → API and create a system-generated key with Read-Only permissions. Bybit refuses anything else on that key.
  2. 2In the monitor, open Add an account → Bybit and paste the key and secret. The secret is stored encrypted and used only to sign read requests.
  3. 3The account appears within about thirty seconds, with 90 days of executions backfilled across every category.

What TradeAquila reads

  • Total wallet balance and equity of the Unified account
  • Positions in every category with mark price and unrealized PnL — inverse valued in USD at the mark
  • Every execution as it happens, with fees; deliveries and settlements booked as closing fills
  • Funding, accumulated per open cycle and booked at close
  • Spot trades, with an honest zero-basis round trip for coins bought before you connected

What it never does

  • Trade, transfer or withdraw — the key is read-only by Bybit’s own rule
  • See your Bybit password or 2FA
  • Run from a US IP — the worker lives in Paris
