How Binance connects

  1. 1In Binance, open Account → API Management and create a system-generated key with Enable Reading only — no trading, no withdrawals. Binance itself enforces that.
  2. 2In the monitor, open Add an account → Binance and paste the key and secret. The secret is stored encrypted and used only to sign read requests.
  3. 3Tick the wallets to monitor — USDT-M Futures, COIN-M Futures, Spot, Options. Each one is a plan slot with its own dashboard, goals and journal.

What TradeAquila reads

  • Wallet balance and equity per wallet, every ten seconds
  • Perpetual and dated-futures positions with mark price and unrealized PnL
  • Every fill with its fee, paired per lot into round trips; inverse contracts valued in USD
  • Spot holdings shown as positions, spot trades reconstructed from balance changes
  • Funding fees, accumulated on the open cycle and booked at close

What it never does

  • Trade, transfer or withdraw — the key cannot, by Binance’s own permission model
  • See your Binance password or 2FA
  • Run from a US IP — the worker lives in Paris; Binance blocks US addresses

Symbols carry a chip — PERP, INV, SPOT, OPT — so a BTC perpetual and a BTC spot holding never read as the same thing.
